1. Who we are
Banter11 is run by Kirk McMahon, trading as Banter11, in South Africa. Contact: hello@banter11.com
2. Who can join
You must be 18 or over. Testing places are limited. An invite is personal, and we can withdraw it at any time.
3. Play fair
Banter11 is for passionate, good-natured rivalry. Abuse, hate, threats and spam are removed, and accounts that keep breaking the rules are blocked.
4. Your posts
You own what you post. You give us permission to show it in the app. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share. You can delete your posts and your account whenever you like.
5. It is a test
Things will break and change, and the test may end or be reset at any time. Scores and data come from third parties and may be late or wrong. Banter11 is not for betting. The test is provided as it is, with no promises about availability, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses from using it.
6. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will say so here. South African law applies. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer or data protection law.

Who is responsible
Kirk McMahon, trading as Banter11, South Africa. This notice covers the information you give us on this page. Once you have an account in the app, the app privacy policy covers that information.
What we collect
Your email address, whether you will test on iPhone or Android, the time you agreed to these terms and which version, how you found this page (if the link tells us), and a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address that we use only to stop abuse. We do not keep the address itself.
Why, and our basis
To decide on and send your test invite, to email you about the test, and to keep this form safe from bots and abuse. We use your consent for the invite and test emails, and our legitimate interest in security for the abuse checks. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who handles it
Supabase (database and hosting) and Cloudflare (this page, spam protection and email forwarding) process it for us. Some of this happens outside South Africa, including in the EU and the United States, under those providers’ data protection terms.
How long we keep it
Until the external test ends, plus 90 days, and then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, withdraw your consent, or stop our emails, at any time: hello@banter11.com. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforeg.org.za), or to your local data protection authority.
